Grantorvet (previously Gramtorvet) is the second-largest city in Thorildhøj, after Thorildsby. It spans about 70 blocks from north to south and 100 blocks east to west. Thorildsk is the main language, however Tungmal was also used during the colonalization by Lanborg. Today, Grantorvetians enjoy a mix of Lanborgian and Thorildhøjan cultures.
Geography

Grantorvet borders the sea in the north, even having boat lines to Berge. It is located in a spruce forest, explaining the name "Grantorvet" (Gran: Spruce; Torvet; Market). The Thorildsby Letbane connects Grantorvet to Thorildsby and Dalen directly. In the west, a naturally-generated village is located and is very slowly being turned into the Grantorvet we see today. The Old Town is located on a cliff, which was important for defense in early times. The lower town is a mix of Lanborgian colonist houses, which are nowadays criticised for being "unpleasant" and pre-colonialist terracotta-architecture. The Old Town and the Lower Cliff are divided by a wall only accessible through multiple stairways
History
Beginning
Grantorvet was established as a stop on the L1, being the second settlement ever. The L1 was lead to here because there was a naturally-generated village. The first houses were meant to look like the natural village houses, with a monotone cobblestone façade and framed windows. These houses are preserved today to keep track of the progression of Fyn’s building skills, even though they look unpleasant.
New Wave
After some time of building Grantorvet, Fyn didn’t enjoy the look of Grantorvet and compared it to similar cities in Minecraft and wanted to implement their strategies inside of Grantorvet. Grantorvet played a major role in the establishment of today’s building standards, Fyn’s first revolutionary idea was a rotated building, resulting in Slantta, which is now FYNesco protected.
Using the inspiration from other Minecraft cities and Cagliari, Fyn built the first building fitting to landmark standards, the Grantorvet Old Harbour. This building was marked as the birth of Fyn’s building style, being continued with the Grantorvet Tower. The last revolutionary idea were block palettes, which are in use in the
