Smørrebrød
Smørrebrød (Åranian: Smørebrø') is a traditional dish made from dark bread with many different layers. It has many varieties, the most popular being with Salmon, lettuce and Remoulade. It is common to find in Thorildhøj and Årania, but it can also be enjoyed in Thorildsbyian cafees. It is considered to have origniated from Thorildhøj.

The second most popular type of Smørrebrød is Hunter-style, being made of dark bread, remoulade, cabbage, smoked meat, (cucumbers, sprouts)
