The first row consisting of three buildings was an attempt at mimicking Kyiv Old Town, but without usage of advanced copycats, as the mod allowing them was not installed then. The district was then put into low priority and construction on [[Litasveit]] continued. The name is derived from "Flatt" meaning "flat", referencing the name of the flat roofes, which is a signature point of the district. During the War of Dignity, the district had the Altsprech-ized name "Flache Lät" or "Reimerviertel".
History
