Not to be confused with the Thorildsby Town Hall or Thorildsby Unified Commonwealth building

The Thorildhøj parliament is the national parliament of Thorildhøj with 118 seats housing 7 parties, still in its construction phase. It is located north of the Thorildsby Town Hall Letbane station. The parliament commenced construction in 25.68Ð with parties already having adapted to the seats. The planning phase was commenced by ex-president Henrik Christiansson, part of the PARSOC political party in 24.8Ð. "Thorildhøj is ready for the next step in politics. [20Ð ago], the parliament was fine for our small country. With our country having a population boom, it is important to not forget about politics.", Christiansson said in his statement regarding the new parliament. PARSOC had to work together with Grønne to make the parliament possible, so Grønne, who value urban design and culture wanted a unique building with a park, PARSOC however, wanted easy public transit accessibility and free water dispensers as well as toilets for the Parliament.

Parties

The parliament houses 6 parties on 118 seats, of which PARSOC, Grønne and Orange Party are the ruling coalition (also called the social coalition). Together they have 78 seats which gives them 2/3 of the parliament and full control over the country.

PARSOC is the biggest party of the parliament and values equity, order and is active in social areas meanwhile their coalition partner, Grønne has the same motives but focuses more on preserving cultures, urban development and securing flora and fauna. The Orange Party is a minority party and is the smallest party in the entire parliament, having 3 seats and is part of the social coalition. They support PARSOC and Grønne's goals but for them inclusion of Åranians in Thorildhøj is the main goal.

Sickle Party 8

The opposition consists of AMPER, who want to decrease taxes and cut financial and social aid to people in need to achieve their goal. They also want to improve the country's economy, wanting to give a massive financial package to the industry, eventhough the economy is called "very stable" by experts and slowly growing. A party with similar goals to AMPER is Our Backyard, wanting to decrease taxes and cut financial and social aid as well. They also wish to grow the economy rapidly. However, Our Backyard is more radical than AMPER, even wanting to make healthcare paid for by the patients. They also strongly believe that personal motorized vehicles which the coloquially call "cars" legalized and heavily developed. For that, some historic neighbourhoods may be destroyed and the party plans to build a paved path network. Unlike AMPER, the ideas of Our Backyard go against the constitution of the Commonwealth and Thorildhøj, so the party wants to change both. The Sickle Party is a very controversial party of the parliament, having no allies at all. They wish to abandon the Commonwealth and believe Fyndrix should be replaced with their party leader Ivan Alviev. Their party has recieved constant backlash and is in the process of being banned, as their ideas have been called out for trying to establish a dictatorship. The party leader, Ivan Alviev was also egged and fainted in front of the Thorildsby Town Hall, which heavily influenced Thorildhøjan pop-culture.

The Cabinet Måns Hansen 2 appoints the ministers of Thorildhøj, which are each responsible for a different branch of the government. It was formed to control at least two thirds of all seats in parliament, giving them the ability to change the constitution of Thorildhøj without requiring approval by the opposition groups.
