Heitare
Heitare (translated: hotter) are a meal consisting of peppers with meat and soup from Lanborg.
Lore
During the war against Årania, many people of Kalkdui culture have been captured. Once in Lanborg, they cooked by their traditions, often making cabbage rolls. Cat XIII didn't like the usage of occupied cabbage, so they took Lanborgian peppers. The people in occupation wanted to show their disrespect towards their opponent, so they cooked the meat for 12 hours at warmer temperatures, to cause burns in the king's mouth.
Legend has it, that Cat XIII was numb in his mouth for multiple days after trying Heitare for the first time. So he waited for hours for them to cool, but the dish was still warm. That's because the hot, condensed meat doesn't transfer heat through the pepper, making them consumable after long periods of time.
Today, Heitare are served with cold sour cream to make up for the very hot temperatures and can be enjoyed in most traditional restaurants in Lanborg.
