Årania, also known as Aarania or Arania is a region in the Thorildsby Project. It borders Thorildhøj in the north and Høvemark in the south. It has two cities: Åranvik and Lyvan, with Åranvik being the biggest city of Årania and also the capitol.
Its national colour is deep Orange, and its national flower is the Åranian Edelweiss, also depicted on the banner and flag of Årania.
Transport
Before trains existed, people were hiking across Åranvik, no matter how long the journey was. As Årania is a very religious country, lots of temples were built along the hiking trail between Åranvik and Lyvan. They can still be prayed in and seen today. Recently, a rail connection was established between Åranvik and Lyvan, the RS1
