Katedraalen

Katedraalen is the local Åranian name for the Åranvik Cathedral, which is also protected by FYNesco and is considered the most famous landmark of Årania.
History
- Construction
Katedraalen was built in the early days of Åranvik, right after Fyndrix built the historic core to fill the old harbour peninsula.
When the channel was crossed, Fyndrix wanted to try building a traditional church which also could be observed over the channel.
The construction commenced with symmetry wands and took Fyndrix about 3 hours. He was very proud after its construction.
Half of Katedraalen was greenified, as the religious population didn’t believe that the cathedral could be used for religious purposes after it was greenified fully. As a compromise, half of Katedraalen was greenified, as only 80% of Åranvik’s population was religious and visited the church for religious purposes. Surveyed tourists believe that the greenifiaction of Katedraalen was very successful and makes the city more beautiful.
