Sødsnegl (English: Sweet Snail) is a traditional [[Årania]]n pastry with many variations, most notably with vanilla cream or with cinnamon. It's sometimes reffered to as Sweet Roll in the international world. It can be enjoyed in [[Årania]]n cafés across the world, and in almost every café or bakery inside [[Årania]].

==Lore==
The Sødsnegl originated from [[Årania]]n settlers trying to recreate the famous [[Thorildsby]]an (then only [[Mørkby]] existed) [[Spandauer]]. However, they folded the dough incorrectly and over time the dough was formed like a snail. The jelly filling was replaced with the popular vanilla cream.

During the [[War of Dignity]], when [[Kalkdui]] helped out [[Årania]]ns to fight against [[Lanborg]]ians, spices like cinnamon were exchanged. With the local population of [[Årania]] mixing with [[Kalkdui]] army members, [[Kalkdui]]and began mixing cinnamon into the Sødsnegl, which later became known as the Cinnamon Sødsnegl
